Referral form

This form should be completed with the full agreement of the person referring to The Compass Centre.

We offer face-to-face, phone, and Zoom support for any non-perpetrating person aged 13+ who has been affected by sexual violence at any time in their life. People of all genders are welcome at The Compass Centre. We offer:

An emotional and practical Support Service, for people affected any form of sexual violence, including, but not limited to: rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse and childhood sexual abuse, sexual harassment, image-based abuse, sexual stalking, and reproductive abuse.
A Counselling Service, for people affected any form of sexual violence, including, but not limited to: rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse and childhood sexual abuse, sexual harassment, image-based abuse, sexual stalking, and reproductive abuse.
An Advocacy Service for people who’ve reported, or are considering reporting, to the criminal justice system.
Information and resources for survivors, professionals, and friends/family/supporters.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accept referrals from people who have perpetrated sexual violence, domestic abuse, or any other form of gender-based violence. We also can’t accept referrals from people not from or living in Shetland, or anyone under the age of 13. If this is you, help is available, and you are not alone. Let us know here and we will do our best to help you find support elsewhere.:
